Hundred Happy Acres

Our plan is simple: be stewards of the land, raise heritage breeds of livestock on organic pasture and provide the local community with sustainably and ethically raised meat. We are engaged in conservation practices such as prescribed grazing, soil improvement, timber stand improvements, edge feathering, habitat creation, invasive species removal and endangered species protection/cultivation.

All of our livestock are raised outside on organic pasture. We are in the process of transitioning this pasture and hemp crop to certified organic. Our sheep and goats are 100% grass-fed & finished while the pigs, ducks, turkeys and chickens are supplemented with a local Soy-Free, non-GMO Grain. All of our food products are free from antibiotics & added hormones and we do not use herbicides or pesticides in our farm management program.

Pork, lamb & goat are available as retail cuts, whole or half animals. We also have whole roaster pigs available seasonally. We have been awarded Kentucky's 2016 Outstanding Statewide Forest Stewards as well as the Outstanding Regional Forest Steward Award in 2013, 2014, & 2016.
