High Five Farm is a two person team growing vegetables and herbs on two leased acres in Woodford County. Farmers Chelsea and Alex are guided by their beliefs in simplicity, community, service, and ecological stewardship. High Five produce is grown using non-certified organic methods, low-impact machinery and hand tools, locally sourced composts, and never sprayed with synthetic pesticides or amended with petro-chemical fertilizers. Join their 20 week community supported agriculture program and receive a wide selection of 6-10 freshly harvested items weekly. CSA members are encouraged to try new things and are equipped with a recipe booklet designed for that week's offerings by Chef Toby Olsen. In addition to their sliding scale community supported agriculture program, their produce is available at Franklin County Farmers Market, Farm+House Lousiville, Locals Food Hub, local restaurants, and crowd-funded free vegetable shares.
