We are a small family farm with animals and people of all sorts. Our land spans 98 acres of old tobacco farm. Most of our acreage is woods and we are in the process of rebuilding the soil from years of tobacco farming. We grow organic vegetables for our local Rockcastle County Farmers Market and we grow organic hops. Our livestock are not yet registered organic. We have cattle, goats, chickens, and occasionally pigs. We are working toward creating a rotational grazing system for our animals. Our goats are a mixture of milk and meat goats. We are not certified to sell milk, but keep it for home use and use it to make soap for our local market. Our long-term goal is to create an agro-tourist business out of our farm to supplement our produce and animal sales.

Note from the farm: We bring fresh organic produce, jams and jellies, homemade bread, and goat milk soap to the market. I have worked with our county this year on some grants for a permanent market structure and we have received those grants. By next market season we will have a nice building and lot for the market!
