Certified Organic
GoodThymes Organic Farm, is a family farm owned by Cortney Moses and Paul Dengel, is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Certified organic since 2014, we participate in the Kentucky Proud, Appalachia Proud, and Homegrown by Heroes programs. Our farming methods and way of life are guided by a commitment to holistic health—nurturing our minds, bodies, environment, and relationships with a deep connection to nature and family. We produce a diverse array of vegetables year-round, with a special focus on heirloom tomatoes.  As a biointensive farm, we prioritize soil health and environmental sustainability, cultivating nutritious, chemical-free vegetables. Our pastured poultry naturally manage fertilization and pest control, enhancing our minimal tillage and mulching practices. Balancing off-farm jobs with farm management makes efficiency a top priority for us. Despite these challenges, we remain dedicated to supporting our local community by supplying produce to nearby restaurants and farmers markets, including the Knoxville Farmers Market.
