Challenging today’s ruinous industrial agriculture system, The Berry Center advances a holistic “Whole Horse” approach that takes nature as its measure, consults the genius of the place, and accepts no harm to the ecosphere. We host the full time, tuition-free Wendell Berry Farming Program of Sterling College, The Bookstore at The Berry Center an agrarian-focused shop, the Archives at the Berry Center for historical and policy research, and Our Home Place Meat a cooperative built around ethical and sustainable livestock farming.
